The Flock Shop is home to resources, merchandise, artwork, and other products created to support clearer communication, conflict resolution, and the work behind The Truce Room. This page explains how our physical and digital products can be purchased, used, shared, licensed, and protected, along with the policies that apply when you shop with us.

Please review the applicable Shop Policies and Disclaimer before purchasing, downloading, licensing, or using our products and resources.

Our Approach

We want our resources to be used, respectfully.

Learn from us. Talk about us. Credit us. Share links to our resources. Use what you learn to help yourself and others.

Please do not copy our work, distribute our files, sell our materials, reproduce our artwork, rebrand our resources, train artificial intelligence systems on our protected content, or represent our work as your own.

If you need broader permission, ask.

We are happy to discuss professional licensing, organizational use, community programs, educational programs, collaborations, wholesale arrangements, and other approved uses.

Accessibility matters to us. So does protecting the time, creativity, labor, and intellectual property that allow us to continue creating accessible resources.

A simple way to think about these Terms is:

Welcome to The Truce Room Mediation Center (“The Truce Room,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing this website, submitting an inquiry, scheduling services, purchasing a service, participating in a consultation, coaching session, mediation-related service, or using any information associated with The Truce Room, you acknowledge and agree to the following disclaimer, limitations, and terms.

These Product, Licensing & Intellectual Property Terms explain how products, resources, artwork, educational materials, branded frameworks, merchandise, and other content created, sold, licensed, or distributed by The Truce Room Mediation Center may be accessed, purchased, used, shared, reproduced, and licensed.

These Terms apply to free and paid digital resources, physical merchandise, artwork, educational materials, worksheets, guides, future products, event merchandise, and other materials made available by The Truce Room, unless a particular product or written agreement expressly states otherwise.

These Terms supplement our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, and any product specific or service specific agreement that may apply.

By purchasing a product, obtaining a digital resource, accepting these Terms during checkout, or using a resource that states these Terms apply, you agree to the applicable provisions below.

If your question concerns an existing purchase, please include your order number when available.

If your question concerns licensing, please tell us what resource you would like to use, who will use it, approximately how many people will receive or access it, how it will be distributed, and whether the proposed use is personal, educational, nonprofit, organizational, or commercial.

We would much rather help you find the right way to use something than leave you wondering whether you are allowed to use it.

SECTION 1

Physical Products & Order Policies

Many Truce Room physical products are produced using a print-on-demand model. This means the item is generally produced after an order is submitted rather than being pulled from existing retail inventory.
The Truce Room may use third party production and fulfillment providers, including Printful, to manufacture, package, and ship certain products. Production time and shipping time are separate.
A product may be produced or shipped from different fulfillment locations depending on inventory, destination, product type, and provider availability.
Although a third party may manufacture or ship your order, The Truce Room is the merchant for purchases placed through our website. Please contact The Truce Room directly for customer support regarding your order.
We make reasonable efforts to represent products accurately. Some online product images may be digital mockups rather than photographs of the exact finished item you will receive.
Actual products may vary slightly because of screen settings, monitor calibration, fabric, garment color, printing methods, embroidery, product materials, manufacturing tolerances, production location, design placement, and normal differences between production batches.
Ordinary minor differences in print placement, scale, color, material, texture, or appearance that fall within normal production variation are not necessarily defects.
Please review your order carefully before submitting it.
This includes the product, size, color, quantity, shipping address, email address, product variation, and any other selected options.
Customers are responsible for selecting the appropriate size, color, product, and variation before purchase.
For apparel, please review the size information associated with the specific item rather than assuming that sizing will match another manufacturer or garment.
If you notice an error or need to request a change, contact The Truce Room as quickly as possible.
We will make a reasonable effort to assist when the fulfillment status allows us to do so.
Changes and cancellations cannot be guaranteed once an order has been submitted for production.
Depending on fulfillment status, we may be unable to change the size, color, product, quantity, shipping details, design selection, or other order information.
Submitting a cancellation or change request does not guarantee that production can be stopped. Nothing in this section limits cancellation rights that cannot legally be waived.
Estimated delivery information may include both production and shipping time. Shipping and delivery estimates are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.
Orders may be affected by carrier delays, weather, holidays, production interruptions, supply availability, customs processing, incorrect address information, or events outside our reasonable control.
Orders containing multiple products may occasionally arrive in separate packages. Tracking information may be provided when available.
Where applicable law requires additional notice, cancellation rights, or refunds because of shipping delays, those rights will be honored.
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information. If you notice an address problem, contact us immediately.
We will attempt to update the information when fulfillment status permits. Address changes cannot always be made after production or shipping has begun.
If an order is returned, delayed, lost, or requires reshipment because the customer provided an incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or otherwise undeliverable address, additional shipping charges may apply.
The Truce Room is not responsible for costs caused solely by incorrect address information supplied by the purchaser, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
A package that appears genuinely lost in transit is different from a package that carrier tracking identifies as delivered. If tracking indicates that an order has been lost or has stopped moving for an unusual period of time, contact The Truce Room. We will review the available information and assist with an eligible carrier or fulfillment claim where reasonably possible.
If tracking identifies the package as delivered but you cannot locate it, we may ask you to confirm the shipping address, check surrounding delivery locations, check with other household members, check with neighbors where appropriate, contact the local carrier or delivery office, and review any available delivery photograph or tracking details.
A package marked delivered is not automatically eligible for a free replacement. Eligibility will depend on the available information, applicable fulfillment policies, carrier findings, and applicable law.
If your physical item arrives damaged, defective, materially misprinted, incorrect, or affected by another qualifying fulfillment error, contact The Truce Room within fourteen business days after delivery.
Please provide your order number, a description of the problem, clear photographs showing the product, clear photographs showing the specific issue, and any additional information reasonably necessary to evaluate the claim.
The Truce Room will review the issue and, where appropriate, coordinate with its fulfillment provider regarding an eligible replacement, reprint, refund, or other available remedy.
The fourteen business day reporting period allows us time to gather the documentation necessary to pursue applicable fulfillment claims. You generally should not return an item unless The Truce Room specifically instructs you to do so.
Nothing in this section eliminates any remedy that cannot legally be waived.
Most print-on-demand merchandise is created specifically after an order is placed. Because of this, physical products generally cannot be returned or exchanged solely because you changed your mind, selected the wrong size, selected the wrong color, selected the wrong product, ordered the wrong variation, or no longer want the item.
Please review product details and size information before completing your purchase. This rule is different from a situation where the wrong product was actually sent, the item arrived damaged, there is a qualifying manufacturing defect, or a material fulfillment error occurred.
Eligible fulfillment problems should be reported under the damaged or defective product process above.
Nothing in this policy limits consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
Please follow the care instructions associated with your product.
Product specific care instructions may be included with the item, on the product page, or in accompanying materials. Normal wear and tear is not considered a manufacturing defect.
Damage caused by misuse, improper washing, improper drying, improper cleaning, exposure inconsistent with product instructions, or failure to follow provided care instructions may not qualify for replacement or refund.

SECTION 2

Bulk Orders, Wholesale, & In Person Sales

The Truce Room may temporarily hold, review, limit, or verify unusually large, repetitive, suspicious, or commercially unusual orders before fulfillment.
Where reasonably possible, we will attempt to contact the purchaser before canceling such an order. Our goal is to understand the intended use.
A large purchase may be perfectly legitimate.
For example, an organization may want merchandise for a conference, employee event, community program, fundraiser, school program, or other legitimate purpose.
In those situations, we strongly encourage the purchaser to contact The Truce Room so the transaction can be structured appropriately as a bulk order, collaboration, sponsorship, organizational purchase, wholesale arrangement, or other suitable business relationship.
If the intended use cannot be verified, appears inconsistent with these Terms, or reasonably appears intended for unauthorized commercial resale, The Truce Room may decline or cancel the order before fulfillment.
Where payment has already been collected for an order canceled by The Truce Room before fulfillment, any refund required under the circumstances will be issued.
Purchasing a genuine physical product generally allows you to later give away or resell that particular genuine item.
For example, you may sell a Truce Room shirt you previously purchased and no longer want.
That is different from purchasing merchandise primarily for commercial resale.
Wholesale purchasing, bulk purchasing primarily for resale, operating a business primarily reselling Truce Room merchandise, purchasing inventory to resell at retail, presenting yourself as an authorized Truce Room distributor or retailer, or creating an ongoing resale operation using Truce Room products requires prior written authorization.
Unauthorized reproduction of our products or artwork remains prohibited regardless of whether an original item was lawfully purchased.
These Terms may also apply to relevant products and materials sold or distributed through pop-ups, vendor markets, festivals, community events, conferences, workshops, educational events, direct sales, QR code purchases, temporary retail booths, and other approved in-person sales channels.
Applicable signs, receipts, checkout notices, QR codes, product displays, or other point of sale disclosures may direct customers to these Terms.
Purchasing merchandise in person does not transfer intellectual property rights in the artwork or designs appearing on the merchandise.
Product specific notices displayed at the event may supplement these Terms.

SECTION 3

Gift Cards, Payments, & Disputes

Gift card purchases are final and nonrefundable except where applicable law requires otherwise. Electronic gift cards may be issued and technically administered through the platform used by The Truce Room.
Gift cards are subject to the functionality and limitations of that platform. Gift cards may not be redeemed for cash except where required by law.
Using a gift card to purchase merchandise does not change the return, exchange, licensing, fulfillment, or intellectual property rules that apply to the product purchased.
Where The Truce Room presents a required checkout acknowledgment, completing the purchase after selecting the acknowledgment constitutes confirmation that the purchaser had an opportunity to review the referenced Terms and policies before completing the transaction.
Customers are responsible for reviewing applicable product information and policies before purchasing.
For transactions occurring through a channel where a checkout checkbox is not available, applicable policies may be presented through links, signage, receipts, QR codes, order forms, invoices, or other reasonable notices.
Nothing in this section eliminates legal rights that cannot be waived.
We want the opportunity to fix legitimate problems.
If you believe there is an issue with an order, product, payment, refund, shipment, or other transaction, please contact The Truce Room first and make a good faith effort to resolve the concern directly whenever reasonably possible.
This allows us to investigate the issue and determine whether we can provide a replacement, correction, refund, explanation, or other appropriate solution. This requirement does not prevent a customer from exercising rights that cannot legally be waived, and it does not require a customer to miss a deadline imposed by law, a payment provider, or a financial institution.
Fraudulent chargebacks, knowingly false payment disputes, intentional nonpayment, repeated abusive disputes, attempts to retain properly delivered products while falsely claiming non-receipt, or other material abuse of the payment dispute process may result in restrictions on future transactions.
Where legally appropriate, The Truce Room may refuse future purchases, licenses, digital access, commercial relationships, event transactions, or other business dealings involving a person or account associated with substantiated fraud or serious abuse.
A legitimate payment dispute made in good faith does not automatically result in such restrictions.
The Truce Room may decline, hold, review, limit, or cancel transactions where we reasonably believe the transaction involves fraud, unauthorized payment activity, identity misuse, technical exploitation, intellectual property misuse, abusive purchasing behavior, unauthorized resale, circumvention of licensing restrictions, repeated fraudulent disputes, or other unlawful or improper activity.
We may request reasonable information necessary to verify a transaction before fulfillment.

SECTION 4

Digital Products & Resource Licensing

Digital products may be delivered immediately or made available electronically after purchase. Because downloadable products can generally be accessed, saved, or copied shortly after purchase, paid digital product sales are generally final once access has been provided.
If you experience a technical problem, receive the wrong file, encounter a corrupted file, or believe you were charged incorrectly, contact us so we can investigate.
Nothing in this section limits refund or consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
We encourage you to recommend helpful Truce Room resources to other people.
If someone else may benefit from a resource, please direct them to the original resource page or to thetruceroom.com so they can obtain their own authorized copy.
Unless a particular resource expressly permits redistribution, you may not email, text, upload, post, publicly share, privately distribute, or otherwise provide another person with your downloaded digital file.
This applies to both free and paid resources. You may share a link to the resource. Please do not share the file itself.
Example:
You download a free conflict preparation worksheet and think your sister would benefit from it.
You may send her the link where she can download her own copy. Please do not simply send her your PDF.
Why?
This helps us maintain accurate versions, preserve attribution, communicate applicable terms, understand which resources are useful, and continue providing accessible materials.
Unless a product listing or separate written agreement provides different terms, eligible digital resources are provided under a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable license.
Purchasing or downloading a resource gives you permission to use that resource within the scope described here. It does not transfer ownership of the resource, its artwork, its written content, its branding, or any other underlying intellectual property.
Personal users may read, download, save, print, complete, reference, and use resources for their own individual purposes. Individual professionals may also learn from our resources, reference concepts they learned from them, discuss those concepts with their own clients or participants, and make reasonable, incidental use of eligible materials during direct one-to-one professional work.
This may include a mediator, therapist, educator, advocate, coach, attorney, social service professional, or other individual professional working through an eligible worksheet or resource directly with one person.
This permission does not allow systematic reproduction, routine organization wide distribution, group distribution, curriculum adoption, repeated mass printing, or incorporation of the resource into another organization's resource library.
If a Truce Room resource becomes a regular component of your practice, program, classroom, group, training, or organization, please contact us about expanded licensing.
Example: Individual Professional Use
A therapist purchases a Truce Room communication worksheet.
During a one-to-one session, the therapist prints a copy and works through it with a client.
That is generally permitted under the standard license.
The therapist later uploads the PDF into the practice's shared client portal so that every therapist in the practice can distribute it to clients indefinitely.
That is organizational distribution and requires additional permission.
Example: Learning Versus Copying
A mediator reads one of our guides and learns a useful approach for reframing hostile statements.
The mediator later applies the general concept during their own mediation.
That is okay.
We want people to learn from our resources.
The mediator may not copy several pages of the guide, change the colors and logo, place their own business name on it, and distribute it as their own training material.
Learning from our work is permitted use.
Reproducing, repackaging, or commercially exploiting our work is not.
A resource being offered for $0 does not mean that it has entered the public domain. Free means free to access under the applicable license.
It does not mean copyright free, unrestricted, ownership free, or freely redistributable.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, The Truce Room retains all applicable rights in its free resources. You may use those resources within the permissions granted by these Terms.
You may not repost them as your own free resources, upload them to another resource library, sell them, bundle them with your own products, remove identifying information, or redistribute the files without authorization.
Example:
If The Truce Room offers a worksheet for free, another organization may link its audience to that worksheet. The organization may not download the worksheet, upload it to its own website, and advertise it as its own free resource. Free access does not transfer ownership.
Personal users may make a reasonable number of working, replacement, or archival copies of an eligible resource for their own personal use. Individual professionals may make reasonable and incidental copies needed for approved direct one-to-one use.
The standard license is not intended to authorize ongoing group distribution, organizational copying, classroom sets, workshop packets, employee handouts, recurring program materials, or other systematic reproduction.
If your intended use involves planned distribution to multiple people, repeated copying, recurring programming, or organizational adoption, an expanded license may be required.
When you are unsure, please ask.
Our goal is to make legitimate use possible, not to surprise people with licensing violations.
Expanded licensing may be available when a resource will be intentionally reproduced or distributed to multiple participants.
This may include workshops, support groups, classrooms, clinics, employee programs, professional trainings, community programs, conferences, recurring group programs, educational programs, organizational resource libraries, participant packets, group facilitation, or similar planned distribution or repeated use.
A written license may authorize a specific number of copies, users, participants, recipients, or distributions. This licensing category may permit up to 999 authorized copies, users, participants, or recipients, depending on the agreement.
The number 999 is a maximum ceiling for this licensing category. It is not an automatic allowance included with an ordinary purchase.
Example #1:
An agreement might authorize use with 25 participants, 100 employees, 300 students, or another specifically approved audience. The scope of permission will be stated in the applicable written agreement.
Example #2:
A counselor occasionally uses a Truce Room worksheet during one-to-one sessions. That may fall within standard professional use. The counselor then decides to use the worksheet every week in a recurring support group involving forty participants. That is facilitator or program use and should be licensed accordingly.
Custom licensing is required for uses involving 1,000 or more authorized copies, users, recipients, or participants. Custom licensing may also be required for substantial commercial or organizational use even when fewer than 1,000 people are involved.
Examples may include company wide training programs, school district adoption, large nonprofit or government programs, paid commercial courses, substantial professional training programs, integration into another organization's product or platform, public curriculum, commercial educational programs, sublicensing, white label use, large scale conference distribution, or use of Truce Room materials as a substantial component of another paid product or service.
The Truce Room may classify a proposed use as commercial, enterprise, or custom licensing based on the nature and value of the intended use, even when the number of users falls below 1,000.
All such uses require prior written authorization.
We welcome legitimate licensing requests.
Expanded licensing may be available for professional, facilitator, organizational, educational, nonprofit, community, commercial, reproduction, or other approved purposes. Licensing prices are not standardized on this page.
Fees and permissions may vary based on audience size, duration, purpose, commercial use, distribution method, reproduction volume, program type, whether modification is requested, whether the use is internal or public facing, whether the requesting organization is operating for profit, and other circumstances relevant to the requested use.
The Truce Room may choose to provide discounted, reduced cost, or complimentary licensing for certain community programs, accessibility initiatives, nonprofit programs, hardship circumstances, or other mission aligned uses.
Such arrangements are discretionary and do not create an obligation to offer identical terms to another person or organization. No expanded license exists unless it has been granted in writing by The Truce Room.

SECTION 5

Artwork, Branding, & Intellectual Property

The Truce Room retains all rights it may lawfully hold in its original materials.
This may include original written content, artwork, illustrations, graphics, photographs, worksheets, educational materials, digital downloads, product designs, layouts, curricula, training materials, diagrams, branding, logos, website content, product packaging, and other original creative work.
Purchasing, downloading, viewing, receiving, or possessing a Truce Room product does not transfer ownership of its underlying intellectual property.
Nothing in these Terms claims exclusive ownership over facts, general ideas, common words, ordinary concepts, methods, or other material that cannot legally be owned.
Our protections concern the original expression, artwork, branding, presentation, arrangement, materials, source identifying elements, and other protectable aspects of our work.
When you purchase a physical Truce Room product, you own that particular physical item. When you purchase or download a digital Truce Room product, you receive the applicable license to access and use that digital product. Neither type of purchase transfers ownership of the underlying artwork, design, written content, branding, or other intellectual property.
- Wear the shirt.
- Use the mug.
- Carry the tote.
- Display the artwork.
- Give the product as a gift.
- Photograph yourself with it.
Sell that individual genuine product secondhand if you no longer want it.
Purchasing the physical item does not transfer ownership of the design appearing on it.
Unless expressly authorized, you may not scan the artwork, trace it, recreate it, vectorize it, digitize it, extract it from the product, remove its background for reuse, recolor it for reproduction, convert it into an SVG, convert it into an embroidery file, convert it into a Cricut or cutting machine file, convert it into clip art, create stickers from it, create new merchandise using it, upload it to another print-on-demand provider, use it to manufacture your own products, commission another person to recreate it for you, offer substantially copied versions for sale, or use our artwork as part of another commercial brand.
Example: You Bought the Product, Not the Reproduction Rights
You purchase a Truce Room shirt.
You may wear it, photograph it, give it away, or eventually sell that genuine shirt secondhand.
You may not scan the artwork from the shirt, upload the design to another print-on-demand company, and begin selling your own shirts using the design. You purchased the product. You did not purchase the reproduction rights.
The L.A.M.B. Method™ is a proprietary branded conflict resolution framework developed and used by The Truce Room Mediation Center.
The framework is identified through:

The Truce Room does not claim exclusive ownership over general concepts such as listening, accountability, acceptance, mindfulness, conflict resolution, trust building, or similar ideas.
Our rights concern the L.A.M.B. Method™ branding, original expression, written explanations, original arrangement, educational materials, worksheets, graphics, curriculum, diagrams, source identifying use, and other protectable elements associated with the framework.
People may accurately discuss the L.A.M.B. Method™. People may identify The Truce Room as its source. People may explain that their own work was inspired by concepts they encountered through the L.A.M.B. Method™.
Where reasonably practical, we ask that references identify The Truce Room Mediation Center and use the name L.A.M.B. Method™ accurately.
People may not present the L.A.M.B. Method™ as their own creation, remove The Truce Room's attribution and claim authorship, substantially reproduce protected L.A.M.B. materials without permission, rebrand the framework as their own proprietary system, create confusingly similar branded materials intended to substitute for the L.A.M.B. Method™, falsely claim certification or affiliation, offer commercial training in the L.A.M.B. Method™ without authorization, or represent themselves as an authorized L.A.M.B. instructor, trainer, facilitator, practitioner, or certification provider unless such authorization has actually been granted.
Terms such as L.A.M.B. Certified, Certified L.A.M.B. Practitioner, Authorized L.A.M.B. Instructor, or similar designations may not be used without express written authorization.
Example: Inspiration Versus Appropriation
Someone develops their own conflict resolution framework and truthfully states:
“Parts of my approach were inspired by The Truce Room Mediation Center's L.A.M.B. Method™.”
That kind of attribution is generally acceptable.
Someone copies the L.A.M.B. structure and associated materials, changes a few words, creates a substantially similar branded framework, and begins selling training while presenting the framework as their own invention.
That is not acceptable.
Changing superficial elements of our work does not automatically make the resulting material yours.
Unless permitted by law or expressly authorized in writing, you may not take Truce Room materials and create a substantially copied product by changing fonts, colors, logos, images, page order, minor wording, brand names, decorative elements, file format, or layout details.
You may not remove our branding and substitute your own branding in order to distribute the resulting material as your own.
Translation, adaptation, substantial modification, commercial derivative materials, and other forms of reproduction may require written permission.
You may not intentionally remove, conceal, alter, or obscure copyright notices, trademark notices, branding, attribution, watermarks, source information, licensing notices, or other rights management information appearing on our materials when doing so would facilitate unauthorized use or misrepresentation.
Where attribution is requested or required under an applicable license, it must be reasonably clear and accurate.
Attribution does not create permission for a use that would otherwise require authorization. Simply crediting The Truce Room does not make unauthorized copying permissible.
We recognize that legitimate search engines and artificial intelligence powered discovery tools can help people find businesses and resources that may assist them.
Where our technical settings permit it, publicly accessible Truce Room website content may be indexed, summarized, cited, or referenced for legitimate search, discovery, navigation, and accurate informational purposes.
That limited tolerance does not authorize unrestricted use of our protected content.
Unless expressly authorized in writing, our materials may not be used for artificial intelligence model training, fine tuning, model development, commercial dataset creation, bulk dataset creation, artwork imitation, style replication intended to reproduce our protected creative work, synthetic reconstruction of our resources, automated extraction of protected worksheets or materials, creation of competing resources from scraped content, bulk copying, commercial data harvesting, unauthorized archival reproduction, training an image generator on our artwork, training a language model on our proprietary educational materials, or creation of systems designed to reproduce substantial portions of our protected content.
Unauthorized scraping, automated downloading, or crawling whose primary purpose is to collect, reproduce, commercialize, or repurpose protected Truce Room content is prohibited.
Nothing in this section prevents lawful search indexing, ordinary search engine functionality, accurate citation, legitimate commentary, or other uses permitted by applicable law.
Customers may photograph genuine Truce Room products and share those photographs online.
Customers may discuss their experience with our products and resources. Legitimate editorial, educational, journalistic, commentary, review, and social media references are generally welcome.
Where reasonably practical, we appreciate credit or a tag identifying The Truce Room Mediation Center and thetruceroom.com.

Resource Disclaimers & Professional Limitations

This section primarily applies to digital resources, educational materials, worksheets, guides, informational content, the L.A.M.B. Method™, and similar materials offered by The Truce Room.
These provisions supplement our full Disclaimer.
They are included here because purchasing or downloading a resource does not change the nature or scope of the information contained within it.
The Truce Room's digital resources, worksheets, guides, educational materials, examples, prompts, scripts, frameworks, and similar content are provided for general educational and informational purposes.
They are intended to help people think through conflict, communication, preparation, boundaries, decision making, and related issues. They are not individualized professional advice and should not be treated as though they were created specifically for your situation.
Every conflict, family, workplace, relationship, organization, legal matter, and personal circumstance is different. A resource that is useful in one situation may not be appropriate in another.
You are responsible for deciding whether a resource is appropriate for your circumstances and for obtaining qualified professional guidance when your situation requires it.
Nothing contained in a Truce Room product, download, worksheet, guide, educational resource, website page, or L.A.M.B. A Truce Room worksheet may help you organize what you want to discuss during a custody related mediation.

Similarly, a communication worksheet may help someone reflect on a difficult relationship. It is not psychotherapy, a mental health diagnosis, or individualized treatment.

A professional service relationship exists only when The Truce Room expressly agrees to provide a particular service under the applicable booking process, service agreement, confirmation, or other written arrangement.
Example:
Buying a mediation preparation workbook does not mean that The Truce Room has agreed to mediate your dispute.
Downloading a communication worksheet does not mean that The Truce Room has reviewed your situation or recommended a particular course of action.
The resource is the product being provided. A separate professional service requires a separate agreement.
The Truce Room does not guarantee that using a product, resource, worksheet, guide, framework, or educational material will produce any particular result.
We do not guarantee settlement, reconciliation, agreement, de-escalation, improved communication, court approval, legal success, enforceability, emotional closure, relationship improvement, workplace resolution, payment recovery, safety improvement, or any other specific outcome.
Conflict resolution involves people, circumstances, decisions, laws, emotions, information, timing, and factors that may be outside anyone's control.
Testimonials, examples, educational scenarios, demonstrations, and descriptions of possible uses are not promises that another person will experience the same result. Our resources are tools.
They cannot control how another person behaves, what another party agrees to, what a professional recommends, or what a court, agency, employer, school, organization, or other decision maker ultimately does.

The Truce Room Mediation Center is based in Texas. Some of our educational materials, terminology, policies, examples, and conflict resolution information may reflect Texas practices or considerations.
Texas recognizes mediation and other alternative dispute resolution procedures under state law, and Texas has established ethical guidance for mediators. However, laws and procedures may differ significantly outside Texas.
If your situation involves another state, tribal jurisdiction, federal law, another country, or another legal system, different requirements may apply.
Nothing in a Truce Room resource should be interpreted as a representation that Texas law applies to your individual matter merely because the resource was created by a Texas based business.
When jurisdiction matters, consult a qualified professional familiar with the law applicable to your circumstances.

This includes, where legally permissible, losses arising from decisions or actions taken based solely on general educational content rather than individualized professional advice. Nothing in this section is intended to exclude liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be limited or waived. This limitation concerns educational and informational resources.
It does not eliminate obligations that may separately apply to defective physical consumer goods, fulfillment errors, refunds, or other rights addressed elsewhere in these Shop Policies or required by applicable law.

Permissions, Enforcement, & General Terms

Customers, educators, mediators, therapists, attorneys, advocates, organizations, businesses, schools, nonprofits, community groups, media representatives, trainers, and other professionals are welcome to ask.
Our goal is not to stop legitimate use. Our goal is to protect the work while making legitimate collaboration possible.
Permission may be available for organizational use, professional use, workshop use, classroom use, educational programming, community programming, reproduction, commercial use, media use, collaborations, bulk merchandise, wholesale relationships, and other approved purposes.
Permission must be granted in writing when these Terms require written authorization. Silence, previous non-enforcement, attribution, purchase history, or prior informal use does not create an ongoing license.
The Truce Room reserves all rights and remedies available under applicable law and contract regarding unauthorized reproduction, distribution, commercial exploitation, infringement, misrepresentation, or material violation of these Terms.
Depending on the circumstances, we may attempt to resolve an issue informally before pursuing additional remedies.
Possible responses may include requesting removal of unauthorized materials, cessation of unauthorized distribution, correction of attribution, removal of misleading affiliation claims, purchase of an appropriate license, negotiation of a retroactive licensing arrangement where appropriate, or other reasonable corrective action.
Nothing in these Terms obligates The Truce Room to offer informal resolution before exercising rights available under applicable law.
Use of Truce Room products or resources does not make someone an employee, representative, partner, agent, certified practitioner, affiliate, franchisee, authorized trainer, or spokesperson for The Truce Room.
No person or organization may imply an official relationship that does not exist.
Some products, materials, technology, fonts, platforms, production services, or other components used by The Truce Room may involve rights held by third parties. Nothing in these Terms transfers rights belonging to another rights holder. Third party products or services may also be subject to separate terms imposed by their respective providers.
These Product, Licensing & Intellectual Property Terms supplement The Truce Room's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, and any applicable product specific, service specific, licensing, collaboration, wholesale, or other written agreement.
If a separate written agreement expressly grants broader or different rights concerning a particular subject, that agreement will control concerning that subject to the extent of the conflict.
All other provisions remain in effect.
These Shop Policies and Product, Licensing & Intellectual Property Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of laws principles, except where another law is required to apply. Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive a consumer of protections that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
If another written agreement between you and The Truce Room contains a more specific governing law or dispute provision concerning a particular transaction or service, that agreement will control concerning the subject matter it expressly covers.
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions should remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Where possible, an invalid provision should be interpreted or limited in a manner that most closely reflects its lawful intended purpose.
If The Truce Room does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not mean the provision has been permanently waived. A waiver concerning one situation does not automatically create a waiver concerning another situation.
The Truce Room may revise these Terms as our products, resources, technology, licensing programs, fulfillment relationships, sales channels, or business practices evolve.
The Effective Date displayed at the top of this page identifies the current version.
Where appropriate, the version in effect at the time of a transaction will govern that transaction unless applicable law or a specific written agreement requires otherwise.
